Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Francisco, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Was walking past and this place was packed. Took a quick look at the reviews and got a seat at the barβ¦ Food is safe and flavors are decent but, nothing to write home about! If you get a reservation go for it but I wouldnβt be sitting at the bar again!!!

Wow, talk about FABULOUS Indian food before a show. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was and now I'm already ready to return for round two. Let's talk about their vegan friendly entrees. Their Baingan Bharta and Aloo Gobi were fantastic. I've had these two dishes a lot in my plant-based life and the way they prepare these dishes here exceeded my expectations. The flavor bomb that comes from the Aloo Gobi was absolutely noteworthy and should definitely be considered. Ten out of ten on both of these dishes. I also ordered an Aloo Pratha which I didn't realize would be cooked with butter. I asked to have one without and they were able to accommodate me. It was a massive amount for just one order and made the perfect serving bread for all our vegan dishes. Service was super friendly and the evening ambiance made for a great meal. Whether you're plant-based or not, there's something for everyone here and certainly worth a try.
